Default TIF Importing problems - any fixes?

I am currently having problems importing tif files. The strange thing is, they
imported just fine when I created the files, but now I get the message "The
link could not be updated. Please select a valid import file." This now happens
to cmyk, rgb, and grayscale files. All files were created in Photoshop 7. Any
    ideas

What verson of FH? I have had this problem in the past in Windows 2000, FH9,
and had to trash the prefs... or maybe it was the whole English folder.
Maybe someone knows a better way.

Hmmmm. Have you moved the original bitmaps? Or have you modified them
since importing them? Beyond that you're outside the boundaries of my
    experience!
