Re: Tips for improving speed of Acrobat Professionsal?
I would also like to know how to improve Acrobat's speed -- with complex press-ready files containing blends, gradients, shadows, glows, blurs, etc, it is extremely slow and difficult to review. We are on all dual G5s, 4 gigs or RAM (or more), fast drives, gig-E network, etc. We have 32 meg video cards - is that an issue? What options are there for getting more speed?

Re: Tips for improving speed of Acrobat Professionsal?
The one thing I have found is quitting and restarting Acrobat occasionally helps. Also, clearing the history in Organizer (I practically live in Organizer) helps speed refresh a little, since Acrobat will generate screen previews of recent PDF files.
Another area where Adobe has let Acrobat lag behind Windows. Even when I am running Acrobat under Virtual PC, the Windows version feels snappier.
