Mac users who have upgraded to OSX generally use Safari, since it is the
default (and best) browser for OSX.
Mac users who have not upgraded to OS9 generally use IE5.

Mac users who have not upgraded to OSX have no money or no concern about
keeping their machines and their workflow up to date.

BTW, as a response to Steve's remark: "These Macs aren't powerful enough
    to have OS X installed"
OSX, up to 10.2.8 can be installed on a 4 years old 300MHZ iMac with no
problem, so I wonder what kind of Macs he might be talking about?

Hi (_seb_) I have these old 300Mhz iMacs littered around my office...we
used to be a magazine publisher and the reporters used them...and they
each have 64Mb of memory...when I was first going to install OS X the
readme said I needed 128Mb...one of them now has 196Mb of memory and is
running OSX happily. The remaining users who have OS9 are very happy
with OS9 and don't like change. It will be a long time before they need
to upgrade to OSX, as they are really stuck in there ways.

I first installed 10.1 on an iMac and then found that no software would
work on it. Everything I could find wanted 10.3 or above, including
FireFox, so I had to wait until we could get 10.3 before actually
    testing anything.

    Hi Chijo,
I found a cool bookmark synchroniser for Firefox, it just uploads a file
to my webspace when I close Firefox. Then when I get home it
automatically downloads and merges the bookmarks. Just thought you may
    like to know about it.
