Default TOC like a christmas tree.

I have defined a paragraph style for level B with left indent set to 4mm and level C with left indent set to 8mm.
I suppose to get something like that (right edge is meant to be aligned):

    level A . . . . . . . 12
    level B . . . . . . 13
    level C . . . . 14

    instead I get:

    level A . . . . . . . 12
    level B . . . . 13
    level C . 14

It can not be helped with standard align to right.
the dots come from the field "add after" and manual adding/deleting
    I'm using ID_CS
    does somebody know a remedy?

I've had a very similar problem, and am still looking for a solution.

I was getting TOC to auto insert a right aligned tab (at right edge of frame), then the letter 'p' and then the page number.

Unfortunately InDesign CS was displaying the letter 'p' and then the page number, and then a right aligned tab. Which is the wrong order.

It was working fine in InD v202.

    Thanks for replying

I fortunately have solved the problem.
I just had to right align the whole TOC later- surprisingly enough the entries meant to be in left side stand there according to the left indent- defined in their style.

What did you do exactly? I'm experiencing the same problem, but selecting the toc with <ctrl>+a and setting the align to right doesn't change anything (except the + behind the style-name).

    TIA, Steffen

I don't know what "leaders" are (german translation?), but instead of "^y" in the TOC-formats I have used "^t" and set manually a right-aligned tab in the paragraph-styles and now it works fine! :-)

    Thanks, Steffen
