I just installed Director 7 on my fast new Pentium 4 with 2GB of RAM.
However, when I start Director, I get an error stating that it
requires at least 10 MB of RAM.

A few usenet posts suggested the older Director 7 can't handle that
much RAM. I followed the only two suggestions I found: update to 7.02
and reduce virtual memory to <500MB. Neither has helped.

Can anyone offer a workaround? I would hate to upgrade. Director 7
has worked fine for a while now, and our web designer would prefer to
stay with it.

Thanks for your help,

joseph
