Default Tool Palette Icons Won't Show Additional Icons

Have deleted Preferences file for PS 7, uninstalled and reinstalled the program and still I can't see any of the icons below the ones on top. Other options won't "fly out". e.g. If the dodge too is on top, I can't get the tools below, like the burn tool, to show so I can click and change to them.

How are you trying to make them fly out?
You can either click and hold or right-mouse click. Do neither of these work?

Default Re: Tool Palette Icons Won't Show Additional Icons

Just by clicking on the icons as I usually did a million times before.
Looking through FAQs here I found my answer.
Culprit was acceleration in my video driver and/or the fact that it had been tampered with recently because another program was misbehaving.
I lowered the acceleration on my nVidia Gforce 4 MX420 and that solved the problem...after I reinstalled the driver. That worked fine. Just to test I raised the acceleration and the icons still showed.
    PHEW!
    Thanks.
