    Default Tools Panel AWOL

I have recently been abandoned by my Freehand10 Tools Panel. I have uninstalled
and reinstalled the software. I have gone to Macromedia>Freehand>English
folders and deleted the Fhprefs.txt file in order to restore the panel to its
    default status. No deal.

I?ve gone through the standard Window>Toolbar and Window>Tools?no dice.

I've also tried Ctl + 7 to restore the Tools Panel to no avail.

Can anyone help me restore my beloved Tools Panel? The OS I'm using is Windows
    98.

    Thanks to all in advance.

Hey tim , i got mine back finally by using method of deleting this file

    Windows - C:\Program Files\Macromedia\FreeHand [#]\English\FHprefs.txt

if this doesn't work try one of the following, good luck!!!

There are several things that can be done to restore the missing toolbar. To
recover, try these three options (in the order listed):

Look around the edge of the screen for a small piece of the edge of a toolbar.
If found, try dragging it back to the desired location.
Delete the Toolbar settings file. Exit or Quit FreeHand prior to trying this
    option.

Do either of you use mulitpul monitors, or a laptop that once had a dual
monitor setup? I was missing my tools palet until I setup on my dual monitor
and the palet was on the other monitor. This has happened with many dialogue
boxes and I think it's a win XP problem.

Thanks da Diva, I had the same problem. That solved the issue. I
inadvertently dragged one of the tools off the toolbar set by accident. It was
the Freeform tool, one of the very useful tools. What a freek accident.

I also had this issue. After installing the trial, I really wasn't
enjoying the program without the toolbar. It turned out that it was
under my taskbar which I keep on the left of the screen (instead of
    the bottom).
