Default Top Story Rotator Extension

Does anyone know of an extension similar to the ones seen on most of the major
sports sites such as http://mlb.mlb.com/index.jsp and http://www.nhl.com/. I
found this one:
http://www.flashstore.com/components/Top-Story-Rotator_4036.html?ref=FlashStore.

It looks ok but I was looking for something a bit more enhanced if
possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I don't have any ready suggestions, but for anyone to suggest something for you, you should explicitly state what you mean by "a bit more enhanced".
