totally frustrated can't open pdf's from outlook express

    Default totally frustrated can't open pdf's from outlook express

    I'm running win 98se & have reinstalled adobe 6.0.1 after deleting same. the program file\adobe\acrobat6.0.1 dir is empty but won't let me delete it with dos.i was informed that it should containAcroRd32.exe""%1" but it didn't load there. I just want to be able to open pdf's from Outlook Express. When Adobe tries I get the message that a file is corrupted. PLEASE HELP I'VE BEEN AT THIS FOR MONTHS ON AND OFF Forever Grateful JEAN

    Since you are talking about Reader, you might find the reader forum more useful ([url]http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?14@@.ee6b2e6[/url]) rather than asking folks that use the Acrobat product.

    As for your problem, after the uninstall, did you reboot before trying to do the delete?

    WILLIAM THANKS FOR REPLYING. YES I DID REBOOT AFTER REMOVING ADOBE READER AND ALL THE EXTRA COMPONENTS. I HAD LOOKED THRU OTHER POSTINGS AND FELT THAT SOMEONE MUST HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND HOPED THEY WOULD GIVE ME SOME INSITE
