Touch up text tool missing
I have Acrobat Pro 7.0.8, and I am trying to edit some text on a business card (an email address that has changed). The Acrobat Help Index advises me to go to Tools>Advanced Editing and select the Touch up Type tool, but it does not exist. The list under the Tools Menu is Select Object, Article, Crop, Link, 3D only. I have tried other pdf files but the tool is not listed iin the Tools Menu of any file I have opened.
Some advice please?

Are you sure you don't have a copy of Acrobat Standard instead of Acrobat Pro?

Sounds as if many of your plug-ins were removed. Try reinstalling.

Re: Touch up text tool missing
Thank you. I have reinstalled Acrobat 7 Pro and all menu items now appear but I still cannot edit the text. The message is "all or part of the selection has no available system font." The font I am trying to change is contained in my font list.

Tom I just posted a note on another thread about this.

Problem still exist.
