Transfer Contribute to new laptop
I purchased Contribute CS3 as a download. My laptop that it is loaded on is on
its way out. I have a new laptop that I want to transfer it onto, but don't
know how without an actual disk. The technical support on adobe's site does
not function. Can anyone give me any tips?

Re: Transfer Contribute to new laptop
You can use the downloaded software, just copy it to the new laptop or download
it again from www.adobe.com.
Before you install the software on the new laptop you have to de-activate you
version of Contribute on the old laptop (main meu Help).
Then you install the software on your new laptop, using the serial number you
required at purchase.

Re: Transfer Contribute to new laptop
I take it that Contribute can only be "active" on one computer at a time, i. e. one can't use it on one's desktop in the morning and edit from one's laptop later in the day?

Re: Transfer Contribute to new laptop
I'm in a similar predicament, but (see earlier post) I can't deactivate
Contribute on my old machine, because the machine died! Not sure what to do,
looks like the only solution is to pay out again for whatever Adobe are
introducing to replace previous versions of Contribute.
