Transfer from Illustrator to pdf - color problems- Help!
Guys,
I transfer an Illustrator file in pdf by printing with distiller.
However, my problem is that my document is originally in rgb, and when all is printed/done in pdf, my pdf document looks like hell as colors are changed.
Where do I change the setting so that my pdf document keeps its rgb colors?
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Jack,
In Illustrator, you have the Save As PDF option and all your RGB colors should be retained.
Could you elaborate on the exact problem you are facing?

Re: Transfer from Illustrator to pdf - color problems- Help!
Galumph,
I create all my document in Illustrator 8.0. In tiles. As an example, for a 10-page document, I set-up my document to be 85 in x 11in (with option tile full pages). So I have one long horizontal document. Once my jpg's are in place, I do print/I select the printer Distiller and press OK. I then get my full document in a pdf format (in a book format).
However, my jpg's are in RGB, once my document is created in pdf, all my colors are changed to cmyk and looks like hell. How do I avoid this transformation?
HELP!

Jack,
When you save as PDF, does the Embed ICC profile option say Adobe RGB (as it should)? And if so, have you tried to tick it?
