Transition problem

I am having problem with transition in my movie. I am using Dissolve, Pixel Fast/Changing Area Only on the timeline to reveal a clock step-by-step. The problem is, the chunk size of the transition appears unusually large (I am using PC, dir MX). I am assuming it has to do with memory, since when I tried to reduce the number of sprites on the frame the transition is applied and the chunk size of the transition becomes small. But on my movie, I need to have all these sprites!! This Pixel Fast transition has no control in its chunk size. So are there anyone who have a solution to my problem? Thanks.. !

I am trying to use a page transition to go from the index.htm page to
another page. I know it only works in IE (if anyone can tell me how to
make it work in netscape or firefox, please let me know), but in the
meantime, I can only get it to work going to one page but not another.
I am using an image map to link to a page. I have it on a test site, if
someone would look at it and tell me why if you click on the orange
spot on the map, the transition works, but all the others, it doesn't.
