Transparency Effect Causing Blurring in v4 compatible PDFs
Have a large collection of native Illustrator v9 files that use
transparency effect (for drop shadow and transparent overlay effects).
Trying to create Acrobat v4 compatible PDFs for web viewing &
reference/only printing. Currently saving direct from Illustrator to
PDF format.
I'm getting random blurriness throughout the PDF file.
- If I delete transparency effects, the file looks clean in Acrobat
v4.
- If I save for Acrobat v5 compatibility, the file looks clean & the
transparency seems to display properly.
Q: Am I missing another solution to make trans. work in v4 PDFs?
