    Default Transparency in InDesign

Can anyone tell me if or how I can prepare a black and white image (logo) from PaintShop Pro 8 and import it into ID as a transparency? I tried saving as a PSD file and tiff- to no avail. Is this possible?
    Help appreciated.

    Default Re: Transparency in InDesign

As far as I'm aware PSP doesn't support transparency in any file format
other than GIF. This was certainly true up to v7, and from what I recall of
my trial of v8 it didn't change.

If you've only got the one to do, you could download the Photoshop Elements
trial and do it with that. PSE doesn't support CMYK but you could make your
logo as RGB. InDesign will do any conversion you need on output.
