    Default Transparency palette

    hi,

whenever i start Illustrator (10.0.3 in OS 10.2.8) it starts up with the transparency palette present -- even after clicking it away the previous time Illustrator ran and saving after. all other palette settings stay in the saved configuration. also, when open, the transparency palette does not have a click away option, the only way to hide it is to go to window>transparency.

it's a minor thing, but nevertheless irritating.

any ideas on how to correct this?

    thanks,
    m.

    Default Re: Transparency palette

When you start up Illustrator, it's supposed to present the palettes in the configuration they were in when you last quit the program. And if the Transparency palette is misbehaving, I'd say it's time to trash your Illustrator preferences.
