Transparent Flash overlapping links
Hey Everyone.
Just a question regarding a problem I'm having with setting up a transparent
flash movie on a page. The movie works in fine in an IE browser on a PC /
Windows computer, but my friend has a mac and I asked him to test it out. The
movie background appeared as transparent which is fine, but there is a
hyperlink menu on the main page content (which lie under the flash stage /
background).
He claimed they were no longer "clickable" even there is no graphical content
from flash on that part of the transparent stage. So I was just wondering if
anyone has any ideas why the movie would be doing this and if there is any
solution to this problem. ( I know i can reduce or move the movie to not cover
the hyperlinks but was wondering if there is some other solution)
Thanks,
Chris

decibelau,
I assume you're using the wmode attribute here. This procedure is known> He claimed they were no longer "clickable" even there is no

to have its issues and is documented in Macromedia technotes as potentially
buggy, depending on platform, browser, etc. I haven't personally run into
the issue you're seeing, but this is likely a case of "them's the breaks."
