Trim,Crop,Punch? - Macromedia Fireworks

Hello, I have an image that I am trying to punch out a circular shape of the image and put a "fuzzy" or "soft" edge on it...Anyone know how I do this? thx Mike...

    mkalavitz,

    1/ Open your image in FW

    2/ Using the ‘Ellipse’ tool, draw a circle the size you want. When you have
    it positioned correctly fill it with white. (FW 4 onwards or Black for pre 4
    versions) .

    3/ In the properties inspector select ‘Edge’ and ‘Feather’ choose the amount
    you require, try 30 if not sure.

    4/ Select both your image and your circle and go to ‘Modify’ >> ‘Mask’ >>
    Group as Mask.

    Your done.
