Trim Marks filter error message
I was working with Illustrator 8.0 and when I tried to create trim marks, with the filter, around a box an error message appeared saying : " The filter cannot complete because of an unknown error. Error: NESS"
I started Illustrator 10 and the same problem re-apperead.
Can anybody help me out?

Re: Trim Marks filter error message
Make sure all layers above the layer with the trim mark box are visible. I've had the error appear when an upper layer was hidden. When I made all layers visible, the trim mark filter worked ok.
Try that and see if it works.
