I've tried using the Printer extension, I've tried exporting, and I have tried using the distiller. Here is my problem:

I use the lens (transparency) option in Freehand to reduce the opacity of a vector graphic. No matter what I do, overlapping transparent shapes come out as one solid color. Twice, I have managed to create a file where the transparent colors are exactly as they should be, but have never been able to recreate the exact settings for this. So far, I have been converting all transparent vector illustrations to images, but that gives the image a soft, blurred look in the PDF file.

Additionally, if I export the file, fonts are not embedded, even though I make sure to check off the "Embed fonts" option.

Can anyone help me? Our company logo uses transparent colors and gradients (which also print as one solid color) quite extensively, so I have to be able to PDF overlapping transparent colors as they should appear, and not as a solid block of color.
