Trouble Getting Started - Macromedia Dreamweaver

Hi, I am a new DreamWeaver user and have a beginner's question. I have created a a blank doent and someone in my company (who unfortunately is out on vacation this week) gave me a css style sheet. I put the new doc and the css in the same folder, but when I open the new doc, the styles aren't listed in the CSS Styles page in the Design panel. Hi,

    I am a new DreamWeaver user and have a beginner's question. I have created a a blank doent and someone in my company (who unfortunately is out on vacation this week) gave me a css style sheet. I put the new doc and the css in the same folder, but when I open the new doc, the styles aren't listed in the CSS Styles page in the Design panel. I can find (and open) the css file from the Site page in the Files panel, but I don't see it in Assests.

    I've gone through the DreamWeave tutorial, and the styles were there, but that was already set up. Would someone please help me get off first base?

    Many thanks.

    Go to code view and insert the following code between you head tags (<HEAD> </HEAD>). You'll probably find some other code there but don't worry.

    <link href="stylesheetname.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

    This will insert code which calls the stylesheet in a way in which most browsers (series 4+) will be able to see it.

    A good css resorce is avaialble at www.webmonkey.com but is code based not Dreamweaver based.

    Hope this helps
