Trouble with a Linksys WAP11 v 2.6
Hey! I was playing with my WAP11 (verison 2.6) and I think I changed
the IP address. I now cannot access it wirelessly nor can I access it
via my Eathernet network. I tried to reset the factory defaults like
how it says in the booklet.... It didn't help... Does anyone have any
ideas on how I can fix my WAP11, I'm getting to the point where I'm
just going to take it back and get a new one.....
Thanks!
Mike

access point so we can pretend it's on topic.
The original WAP11 had a USB port so you could get around this kind of
problem a bit more easily. For the 2.6, life is a bit harder, you'll
have to go back to the factory settings.
If you look on the back of the unit, there's a little reset hole to the
left of the Ethernet jack. Hold it in with a pen or something for 10-15
seconds and you should be able to start over.
For next time, you can download a new copy of the manual from Linksys'
Web site.
