in my environment we run windows xp and acrobat 5/6 (a mix) we have
the need for both the true type and type1 versions of the Minion font.
we purchased the type1 font to enable it to be embedded in pdfs.
having both installed in C:\windows\fonts produces some problems in
almost all applications in regards to making pdfs. we need to keep
the true type font around in the c:\windows\fonts folder for various
applications that look for that font in that specific folder. is
there a way to make acrobat/distiller always choose the type1 minion
font to embed instead of the true type?
