trying to export a picture from pdf - HEEELLP!
I'm on Acrobat Prof 6.0.1
I want to detach some pix from a pdf. The help menu has told me how to do it, but I don't seem to have the Picture Tasks plug-in, nor can I find anywhere to download it!
I've downloaded a 6.0.1 updater from adobe hoping that might fix things but I can't install it, just get the rainbow spinning ball.
THIS SHOULD BE SO SIMPLE, PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!!

Re: trying to export a picture from pdf - HEEELLP!
Because if you search for "export picture", it only refers to the Picture Tasks function.
If you thought to search for "export image," then it also shows you the topic, "Converting Images to an Image Format," which tells you what Jon told you.
And the reason the Picture Tasks feature didn't appear was that it is "specifically designed to allow you to extract JPEG formated pictures sent to you in an Adobe PDF file that was created with Adobe Photoshop Album, Adobe Photoshop Elements, or Adobe Acrobat using JPEG source files."
This is all from the Help system if you dig deep enough.
