Default Turn Off XP Feature to Make CAPS default if you hold down Keys 8 seconds?

How do you turn off the feature (obstacle)
in Windoz XP where if you hold the keys down
for 8 seconds a screen pops up and the default
    becomes that CAPS ARE ENABLED???

This drives me nuts, and I have to reboot to get it to stop.

    TIA for your help folks!

Default Re: Turn Off XP Feature to Make CAPS default if you hold down Keys 8 seconds?

If you hold down the *right* shift key for eight seconds, you enable one
of the Accessibility options called FilterKeys, which slows down the
keyboard repeat rate and ignores brief or repeated keystrokes. It
doesn't enable ALL CAPS. You can click the Settings button that pops up
and then click the Settings button under FilterKeys and disable it but
    unchecking "Use shortcut".

StickyKeys sounds more like what you have accidentally enabled by
pressing the shift key fives times in succession. You can also uncheck
"Use shortcut" to disable this keyboard option.
