Two files get zip codes??? - FileMaker

Using Filemaker 5.0 on PC. I have two files, each containing contacts with addresses and zip codes. I would like to find all of the zip codes in Table A that are not in Table B. I can not figure out how to accomplish this. Any help will be appreciated. If your muslins are not ONTRAX, you are working too hard. Ontrax systems http://www.ontrax.com...

    Default Re: Two files get zip codes???

    So you have two tables, each with a zip code field...

    Table A::
    Zip Code Field

    Table B::
    Zip Code Field

    And you want to find all of the records in Table A that are not in Table B?

    Make a relationship from Table A to Table B with Zip Code as the key
    field...

    Table A::Zip Code = Table B::Zip Code

    Now make a layout in Table A. Place both fields on the layout.

    Do a find with the criteria...

    Table B::Zip Code = *

    Check the "Omit" box

    Your result will be what you want...

    All the records in Table A that do not have a related record in Table B

    I hope this helps,
