Type Fonts for ID
Anyone tell me if I can use the fonts from Pagemaker in InDesign? And, if so, how and where (directory) do I copy them? I believe PM had a program that searched and installed fonts?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Type Fonts for ID
PM doesn't install fonts. You may be thinking of Adobe Type Manager (ATM). If you are on W2K or XP or you just go to start>control panel>fonts and install new fonts that way.

I think when Tim wrote

He meant PM came with a program that installed fonts. PM does come with ATM on the CD. Personally I prefer using ATM to install the fonts. It's much easier to manage fonts that way since I can tick or untick the ones I'd like to activate and deactivate. BTW, I think that feature is only available in the ATM Deluxe version.

Re: Type Fonts for ID
It is only available with the Deluxe version. Additionally, any older
version of PM would have shipped with ATM lite 4.0. No version earlier
than 4.1 should ever be installed on WinXP or Win2K.
