    Default Type Shortcut

Is there a shortcut anywhere or can I define one for changing case? The only place I have this is when I highlight the text and right click on it.

I would like to be able to highlight the text I would like to modify then press a hotkey, shorcut key combo or click a button instead.

    Default Re: Type Shortcut

Like everything else on the Type menu, the four Change Case options can be assigned shortcut keys in the standard way.

And they can be assigned to be used only when the text is highlighted. I
have sentence case set to be ctrl+s. That command will still save the
file if the text tool isn't active.

That's great guys, but you know when you go to the Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts menu and look under Product Area?

The first place I should have looked should have been "Type menu". For whatever reason I was looking in "Other" and "Text and Tables".

Ok, now that I have found it, what needs to be done so that it only works when the text is highlighted?
