Uma Thurman-Tommy Jones to host Nobel concert
The organizers of Norwegian Nobel Committee announced that, Hollywood stars Uma
Thurman and Tommy Lee Jones are to co-host this year's Nobel Peace Prize
Concert. The concert is held the day after the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony where
the 2007 co-winners, former US vice president Al Gore and the Intergovernmental
Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), were due to accept their awards. Gore and the
UN climate panel were lauded for highlighting the impact of man-made climate
change and how to tackle it.
