Unable to access Tools/Internet Optios in I.E. - Restricted
Am using XP-Pro with two accounts the first as an administrator and the
second as a user (Both accounts having different names)
While using I.E Version 6.0 as the user when I click on the tools and then
internet options. I get a message saying Restrictions "This operation has
been cancelled dye to restrictions on this computer. Please contact your
system administrator. "
For what it's worth this problem seems to have started after I had changed
the Administrator password.
Also I am still able to access the internet options as the user via the
control panel.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Happy July 4th to all!

Re: Unable to access Tools/Internet Optios in I.E. - Restricted
You have set group policy which prevents accessing internet options from
browser. See these registry keys:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Int ernet
Explorer\Restrictions\NoBrowserOptions" and
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\In ternet
Explorer\Restrictions\NoBrowserOptions"
Ensure that both values are either deleted or set to 0.
