Unable to create a PDF/X1a document in Illustrator CS
I cannot create a PDF/X1a document using the save as pdf function in Illustrator CS.
I have to export to legacy eps and then use distiller to create a compliant PDF/X1a document.
Is there something that I am doing wrong?

Re: Unable to create a PDF/X1a document in Illustrator CS
Best I know, there's no provision from within the AICS Save As dialog to create a PDF/X1-a document. You must use Distiller OR you can open any PDF file in Acrobat Pro 6.0.1 and create the PDF/X1-a file there.
