UNABLE TO DELETE PDF

I have tried to delete a pdf from my G4 without any luck. Message says:
Cannot complete operation because the 1234.pdf is locked.

I have tried to change the security settings, though they don't apply but nothing seems to work, also I tried renaming, but renaming is disallowed also.

Does anyone know how to unlock a pdf? It sounds so simple, but I searched everywhere in help and online without any luck.

Any tips are much appreciated, the client who gave me with job stiffed me and now I can't get rid of the damn job on my computer.

You did a Get Info on the file and the checkbox for Locked is not checked? If it is checked, uncheck it and you should be able to delete the file.

Go to the NetInfo Manager, Authenticate, Enable Root User, and delete that puppy. If you can't delete it as 'root', well then... it might be yours forever. You might also try creating another admin account and deleting it from there.

'unlockall' is a fine utility.....shareware....
