Unable to go into editing mode for one page
Morning,
I have a problem: I'm able to edit all other files on my website, but I'm
having trouble going into editing mode as an administrator for one page. I
keep getting the error: "Could not copy the page to your computer." I made
this page directly on the server, so it doesn't have any _bak and _note files
I can delete.
If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it.

Re: Unable to go into editing mode for one page
I had a similar problem when the page was linked to open in a 'new window.'
Finally figured out that when a new browser window opens it is outside the C3
connection.
To resolve the issue I type the address in or change the link to 'default.'

Re: Unable to go into editing mode for one page
Hi
Also are you trying to edit a frame based page. If so verify whether the path
for all the pages in the Frame tag are correct, as contribute throws this
specific error if it is not able to find the frame you are trying to edit.
Hope this helps,
Sudharshan

Re: Unable to go into editing mode for one page
Hi Sudharshan and Phramer - thank you for replying! Unfortunately..
my pages aren't framed-base, nor do they open in a new window.
The pages I'm trying to edit are viewable via the Contribute browser viewer,
so I'm not creating a new Contribute page. It's really strange, the only thing
I can think of that might have caused the error is the fact that I physically
moved these pages from another server...but even so, I did the very same thing
on another server and I did not encounter this error.
Suggestions?
