unable to open filmstrip file in Photoshop 7

I have a 2.5 gig processor, 4 - 120 gig hard drives for storage, and 1 gig RAM. In Photoshop 7,When I try to open a flm file I created in Premiere, I get a window that says "could not open because of a disk error". I have tried a file as small as 3 frames and get the same result. Any help?

have you run scandisk and defrag?

Thank you, but scan disk and defrag didn't help.

Try the ibm drive fitness tests, I think they work for and hard drive.
