Unable to save PDF in 6.0 Professional
I am using Acrobat 6.0 Professional.
I have created a document with customize fields. However, when I send it to someone who doesn't have 6.0 Professional, they cannot save the document with their own information. When they try to save, it just saves the original document. They can only fill in the fields and print.
THANKS!

Re: Unable to save PDF in 6.0 Professional
who doesn't have 6.0 Professional,
I assume you mean w=someone who has Reader.
This is by design. Reader cannot* save form data, it can only print or submit it.
* unless the PDF was created on an "Adobe Document Server with Reader Extensions." No, you can't afford it.

Re: Unable to save PDF in 6.0 Professional
W T Allen,
Thank you for your response. That stinks about not being able to save it. So, emailing a completed form is out of the question. Dang.
Thanks again,
AmyP

Re: Unable to save PDF in 6.0 Professional
emailing a completed form is out of the question
Absolutely. Even if it wasn't, email is a TERRIBLE way to recover data and should be avoided at all costs.

Re: Unable to save PDF in 6.0 Professional
On the other hand, Reader can SUBMIT forms, just like a web page.
(Submit does not mean send an e-mail).
