Re: Unable to update NT registry error
CF 6.1 or 7.0? How did you install? Did you poick the Standard (Standalone
c:/CFusionmX style) or the JRun J2EE (c:/jrun4/)? Were there any errors
installing Sequelink (the piece that allows you to connect to MS Access)?
(Windows services ColdFusion MX ODBC Server/Agent). The errors would be in
the root directory (*.log files ex: Macromedia_ColdFusion_MX_InstallLog.log )

Re: Unable to update NT registry error
I am having the same issue.
CFMX v6.1 Professional with Aug. 25 Updates.
I've considered update the JDBC Drivers with the ones that cause the 100% CPU
Utilization issue, but after consideration, I don't think it's the drivers,
it's they way they are configured (or not configured). Any help greatly
appreciated.

Re: Unable to update NT registry error
I was able to get it fixed. I found a german site with the solution:
Installing this update and then restarting fixed it.

cf 6.1, I installed it c:/CfusionMX style and I checked for the possible
errors and I found the following
"Error","jrpp-20","04/04/05","01:08:32","cfadmin","Method selection
Exception. An exception occurred during method selection process for Method
Replace The cause of this exception was that either there are no methods with
the the specified method name and argument types, or the method Replace is
overloaded with arguments types that Coldfusion can't decipher reliablly. Use
javacast function to reduce ambiguity. The specific sequence of files included
or processed is:
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\CFIDE\administrator\datasources \msaccess.cfm "
