Unable to Use Adobe OpenType font in Form Field
When I try to use Tekton Pro Regular as a font for a field I get the message "The selected font cannot be embedded in the PDF file because of licensing restrictions. If the PDF file is viewed on a system that does not have this font installed, Acrobat will simulate the appearance. To preview the simulated font appearance, turn off Advanced > Use Local Fonts.
To avoid this situation, use a font that can be embedded in the file or a font known to be installed on all systems where the pdf file will be viewed.
I thought I was allowed to embed an Adobe Original font. Any ideas what I need to do?
Thanks,
Warren

Re: Unable to Use Adobe OpenType font in Form Field
There are ceratin levels of embedding. This particular font is "Editiable embedding allowed" defined as fonts may be embedded in documents, but must only be installed temporarily on the remote system
You can emebed the font in the body of the PDF, just not in form fields.
Pick a different font.
