unacceptable file size
I had a Microsoft Power Point document at around 610k and outputed to pdf format, the pdf version is around 4MB. When I transported that same Power Point document to Windows PC and did the same to output to pdf and the final version is only around 420k. Could someone please has any idea what's going on and if there is a workaround?
Many thanks

Re: unacceptable file size
There are many settings you can set in distiller to change the size of
the resulting pdf file. There is screen, print, press, and various
settings that can be customized. Please read the manual that came with
Acrobat on how these settings work and how they affect the how the
resulting pdf file looks. Generally, screen will give you a very small
file size. If you have Distiller 7.0, then the name of the job settings
has changed, but there are settings like standard, smallest file size, etc.
