I have a desktop icon (not a shortcut) which I cannot
delete. Highlighting and pushing the delete key does
nothing. Moving to the recycle bin is prohibited. Right
clicking on it displays a menu of associated programmes
all of which I have deleted. Displaying it's properties
is denied. I cannot find the file in any of the desktop
directories, so I cannot take ownership or change any of
its properties. I have deleted all references in the
registry.

The file was craeted when I installed psiwin (win 95 era
Psion link program). The installation had an error. The
uninstall didn't work properly.

Any suggestions how I can find and delete this icon?
