Uninstall Illustrator 9.0
Hi,
I have a corrupted illustrator 9.0 due to power failure on the middle of installation. When power went back on I tried to continue to install. illustrator does not properly save files and reports missing fonts. I cannot uninstall/reinstall illustrator 9.0 from the add/remove it says the uninstaller is corrupt.
Has anyone have ideas on what particular files in my harddrive and windows registry to delete for illustrator 9.0?
I'm running on XP home, also have PS 7.0 and Acrobat Reader 6.0 installed just in case.
Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Re: Uninstall Illustrator 9.0
Olops,
Manually remove any files/folders using Explorer, then use RegEdit and do a find (Control F) for Illustrator and delete all references you find there to it. Reboot and now perform a new install. I'd sure recommend that you purchase a good UPS (uninterrupted power supply) which can save your bones in such situations. If you are not familiar with working with RegEdit, I recommend you either have someone who is familiar with it, or use EXTREME care in what you do as you can cause yourself a lot of grief doing things wrong here.

Re: Uninstall Illustrator 9.0
olops,
I would re-install Illustrator over-the-top of itself and THEN uninstall.
That will create a new uninstall file.
