UNINSTALL mac applications ? - Mac Applications & Software

After installing so many commercial and shareware apps, they fill up my drive! Now, I want to "UNINSTALL" some of them. Is there such a thing as UNinstalling CLEANLY a Mac app ? Or is it simply a matter of DELETING the folder of the app ?...

In 99% of the cases it is just deleting the folder. In a few cases
(mainly hardware drivers and low-level hacks, rarely applications) there
may be some system folder stuff that may need to be removed. In those
cases good vendors will include an uninstall option in the original
    installer.

Drag the folder to the trash, then search for the application
in"Sherlock"it will throw up any stray bits so you can trash them also.

Drag the folder to the trash. Then search though your library files
and trash any plist files related to the app.
