Uninstalling Acrobat 6.0 Pro W/O Disc. HELP!!!!
I hope someone can help me with this problem. I borrowed a copy of CS and loaded the software on my computer. Several of the programs didn't work properly on my cheap PC with 128 mb of ram. I went to uninstall the programs from the disc and it took over 4 hours to uninstall. I turned the program off and re-booted the program and it uninstalled in about 30 minutes. Heres the problem.....
I had to manually uninstall Acrobat 6.0 from my computer, now my add/uninstall function in my control panel still sees the program and it says it needs the disc to uninstall. I tried to download the free 30 day version, but when I tried to install it it says I have a better version and won't install. There must be some files left behind that I can't find that I need to get rid of so my Acrobat reader 6.0.1 will recoginize the acrobat files in my computer, and not try to re-install 6.0 professional to view them. If you have any ideas, please email me at dcuny@astound.net
Regards,
Dan Cuny
