Default uninstalling CS and having v10 come back?

Because of my work place and profession they have asked me to un install CS and bring back 10. Problem is every time I delete CS (and all preferences) and re install 10 the save as dialogue box doesn't give me an option to save as illustrator? I have 4 options one of which is eps. Could someone PLEASE HELP!

How do I get my save as diolgue to work properly.

    Shane,

Just choose the text option. It's the same as native AI. Also did you trash both the preference files in ~/Library and Library?

It is probably the com.adobeillustrator.plist file from the preference folder that she also has to trash as both versions share the same file.
