Uninstalling Flex - Macromedia Flex General Discussion

I used add/remove programs instead of the flex uninstaller. At the end of the uninstall, a msg box popped up with "failed to remove all files". I then noticed that the macromedia folder was still in the start up menu, but the only thing left in it was the readme.txt, no uninstaller, so I deleted these files. The installer still fails. I can't find instructions for manual uninstall. Please advize. Thanks...

    Default Uninstalling Flex

I used add/remove programs instead of the flex uninstaller. At the end of the

thing left in it was the readme.txt, no uninstaller, so I deleted these files.
The installer still fails. I can't find instructions for manual uninstall.

If you are running Windows XP can you not 'rollback' the uninstall Anyway, why
are you uninstalling (failed install?) and if the initial install failed it
could be due to Flex installer used if you download the app. from the web and
install from your machine. I had a problem with the install of Flex and found
that I had to open the installer from the Macromedia website instead of saving
it to my machine. We had a discussion about this somewhere in here.
