Default unixware 2 : how to config tcp/ip

Hi, there,

I need do some code porting on unixware 2. (yes, very old, uw2.1.3 ),
and I have 3com 3c509tp lan card ( another one is intel pro100+ lan
card).

I had tried verious method to let 3com lan card working for tcp/ip,
but fails,
Is there anyone can help me on this.

[snip]
I had use various driver from cdrom and internet download abd below
methods
(1) the driver from cdrom install is '3com ethernet III 3c509' (F6
info indicate it support this card.) (2) dirver named "5x9uw.exe" then
use 'pkgadd -d /home/el3' (3) drived named 'ptf3288e.ihv.dd.Z' , then
use 'install from IHV disket'). In fact, these drivers are same. and
the problem is we I use 'ifconfig -a', it prompts:
'TCM5X9: (up,broardcaset,notrailes)
inet 15.x.x.203, netmask fffff800, broadcast 15.96.143.255'
....lalala...

and another box I use unixware 7 prompts:
'ln0: (up,broardcaset,running,multicast)
inet ...lalala...
[snip]

thanks in advance,

Jonathan. (ps. pls send any reply to my email: jxc22221cn.com)
