Unjoined paths and their incomplete fills
Basically, if I have a path drawn in the pen tool, but that isn't joined
from beginning to end, Illustrator will fill from the beginning point to the
end point, but won't fill the entire shape. Aside from drawing fill-only
shapes on layers underneath it to patch up these filling 'holes', then
grouping it to the original image, is there any way to quickly patch these
gaps up?
Before and after the fill:

Thanks for any forthcoming help :>
