Unlocking Windows - Windows XP/2000/ME

Yesterday, my computer was fine...today, i turned it on and it tells me to enter a password. additional text in the box says windows is locked and can only be unlocked by a computer administrator. I ave no idea what the password may be.... My question is...How do I unlock windows??...

    Hi Henry,

    Did you install the .net framework update yesterday? Try leaving your
    password blank.
