unpaintable
I've been trying to solve a problem involving lack of access to ImageReady, and have altered some preferences. Now I can't paint on pics I open.
What can I do to get my painting privileges back?

Re: unpaintable
Do you get any error messages when you try to paint/draw/alter an image?
Something like:
Could not use the [insert tool name] because the content of the layer
is locked?
If so, uncheck the small paintbrush or lock icon at the top of the layer palette (not the one directly to the left of your layer). If you hover your cursor over the icon, you should see a tooltip called "Lock Image Pixels."
Is this something that happens with all your images or just a particular image?
What steps have you taken to try and remedy the problem?
Have you tried resetting the preferences per the instructions in the FAQ?
Please post back with some more detailed information.
