    Default Unpublished drafts error message

I have a friend who uses Contribute and when her hosting company upgraded her
account, her server info changed. I have never used Contribute, but that
seemed simple enough. When I attempted to edit the settings, it prompted me to
cancel or publish drafts before the settings can be edited. I found a draft,
    cancelled it, and tried again.

Here is my problem: It still gives that message and will not allow me to edit
the settings, even though I cancelled the only draft. When I choose
file>drafts...it says NONE, and yet no matter what I do, I continue to get the
message. I tried closing out and re-opening the program...no help. I have
searched and searched the internet but can't find anything on this.

    Can anyone PLEASE help me??

Can you please try clearing the Contribute preference once and try connection
to it? Before clearing the preferences, quit Contribute.

    Thank you...I will try that.

I went back in--after posting here--and tried some lame long shot things. One
thing I did was go to her events page (which I know is the page she would most
likely be editing), and I chose to "edit" the page. It then created a draft,
but here's where I'm REALLY baffled...The draft was an UPDATED version of the
page...NOT the published one on the website. It occurred to me that this
"draft" must be in the system somewhere, but not showing up under "drafts."
    Any ideas?
