Update 10.4.7 for Intel Macs compatible with CS-2?
There were huge problems with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and the Quicktime update and the Apple Security Update 2006-003
Using Acrobat or Photoshop totally incapacitated the Intel-Mac, and I had to reset the system to the previous state and lost a lot of work.
Does anybody know if these bugs have been fixed for 10.4.7?

While there was no official Word (since CS2 isn't supported) I seem to
recall that Apple's QuickTime 7.1.1 update fixed this.

Re: Update 10.4.7 for Intel Macs compatible with CS-2?
Make sure you have repaired permissions in Disk Utility. Don't just run the verify. Run repair twice.
another thing you might try is run computer in single user mode. you'll know your in it becase it will have aBlack screen with white type.
When the cursor stops and is blinking type: /sbin/fsck -fy
Will take a while to run through all test. If any problems are repaired repeat until message comes up no problems found. at that point type reboot
Then try.

Re: Update 10.4.7 for Intel Macs compatible with CS-2?
Thanks for the advice. I'll do that anyway. The problem was temporarily resolved by turning off a plugin: SendToPalm.acroplugin was the culprit and I think I can live without it. Unexpected bonus: Acrobat fired up faster than I've seen it since 4.0! Unexpected downturn: It doesn't work today. Back to the drawing board.
